(EKAMITATA GOWIBIMATA- Farm Land as one team) is a national Program to Cultivate Unused Land which was Launched by the Sri Lankan Government on 15 February 2025. The goal is to identify and cultivate previously unused or “abandoned” agricultural land — both dry land and paddy land.This program is part of a broader strategy to boost food production and improve food security in the country.
